Come stroll the grounds of the beautiful Green Bay Botanical Gardens to build your appetite for a good old Wisconsin Spanferkel (pig roast). Free Shuttle for this event. Only room for 300 for this event.
Green Bay Botanical Gardens was dedicated as an American Hosta Society Display Garden in 2010 and an American Hemerocallis (daylily) Display Garden in 2014. The Green and Gold Hosta Society of Northeastern Wisconsin maintains the Hosta Display Garden that greets visitors as they enter the Green Bay Botanical Gardens Visitor Center. The Bay Area Daylily Buds maintains the Daylily Display Garden located within the gardens. Green Bay Botanical Gardens is also home to the King Shade Garden, featuring many of Herb and Gladie King's unique hostas.
Green Bay Botanical Gardens features many other 'themed gardens' that are a delight to stroll through. It is listed as one of the 10 best things to do in Green Bay by Trip Advisor.
After strolling through the gardens, enjoy a Wisconsin Spanferkel served by Biebel's Catering. They will be slow roasting a pig in their charcoal-fired pig roaster and serving it up with homemade baked beans, rolls and five other dishes for your culinary delight.
